Why is social media so anti-fee speech, and have they become total BS?

Oh, it’s because they make money off advertising, and advertisers do not want their ads running alongside, say, Nazis praising Hitler, or scat porn, or whatever. Yes, in the US that is protected free speech, as is spam. No, social media companies do not have to host it on their service if they don’t see any upside in it.
